Remember those government jobs I applied for? The ones with the tests in London?

I got an email this evening saying "Hey, we'd like you to come in for an interview".

My heart lept with joy.

Until I read the small print.

Must have graduated by July 2006.



Fuck.

    That's true, Sarah. Totally go in and wow them -- because there's always the chance they'll overlook that if you show them that you have what it takes.

    Don't apologize for it. Be like, yeah, I've not graduated, but I'm so good at what I do that you'd be a fool not to hire me today.

    And tell them you like old, moldy books! THat'll help.

    Hahaha, thanks ladies. Problem is they've scheduled the interview session IN Canada (Calgary of all places, WTF?!?!) in June. I'm still in England at that point and can't afford to fly home, I'm afraid. I've emailed them to see if they can arrange something else, but I doubt it will come through. *sigh*
