Of Saskatoon
Anyone know anything fun to do in Saskatoon on a Wednesday night?

I'm being sent for a training session in mid-February, so I was hoping to not necessarily just sit in the hotel and do laps in the pool or run on the treadmill... although that would be all right...

I Am Reading:
Quasi-Academically: Le Morte d'Arthur (Malory)
For Fun: Helen of Troy (Margaret George)
Pile of unread books on my bookshelf: way too many...

As if this could describe my life any more perfectly...?

The interview was for THIS:

I think I did ok. We'll see. I'll know by mid-February.

In the meantime, going to sleep off a headache.

Of urgent, demanding, pressing, dilemma-causing matters
Ladies and gentlemen, I have a problem. It is a monumental task that's facing me, fraught with peril, disappointment, discovery, and that I'm sure will end in blood, sweat and tears (or at least the last two). I've put it off as long as possible, and there have been holes appearing, making life more difficult by the day.

I need new jeans.

One of my favouritest (not to mention one of few casual-friday-appropriate pairs that I have) pairs of jeans have bit the dust with a hole in wonderful unmentionable areas.

I have previously ranted about my hatred of shopping, but my hatred of jean-shopping tops it all. I may, unfortunately, have to bit the bullet and go to the GAP (*shudder*) to get jeans, since they're really the only pants I've found that actually fit my little waist a bit better than the other companies out there. And they have wide-leg jeans that don't look like you're swimming in them. And yet... it's the GAP.... Their labour practices, while improved over the years, are still somewhat dubious... although probably not more dubious than a bunch of other companies I buy from, I suppose.

Where are Stacy and Clinton when you need them?
