So I went for a two-week followup on the puffy face issue.
It looks like I have elevated thyroid antibodies. Which basically means nothing. Except that I'm more susceptible to conditions like hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. So I basically have to keep watching for depression issues, weight gain that can't really be explained... But in the meantime there's nothing to be done.

Better to be told it's nothing than something, right? I'm glad you're feeling better. We should do a barbeque or something soon, it would be good to see you!
I'm going to concur with Magnolia, at least it was "something" rather than - "we're sorry, we have no idea what is wrong with you. Are you sure you think that something is wrong? I mean, I know your face swelled up and such, but is that really a problem?"
Medical Jerks...
*hugs*
