I may be applying for a job with the Canada Border Services Agency, and Firearms Safety Certification is part of it, although they recommend you actually learn how to fire a gun as well as just theoretically learning how to be safe with guns. Which is almost easier said than done in Canada, but what the hey?
Yes, that's right, Canada may, in fact, be arming a lot of its Border officers. With more than pepper spray.
